Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policy for CT Folk
CT Folk is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community for all of our board members, staff, volunteers, performers, vendors, and attendees.
We will actively work to increase diversity and representation within our organization, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, national origin, socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, and ability.
We will actively recruit and include diverse board members, staff, volunteers, performers, and vendors.
We will provide free or donation-based programming with the view that no one shall be left out and all CT residents should enjoy the services provided by our organization.
We will work to intentionally create a safe and inclusive environment for all board members, staff, volunteers, performers, vendors, and attendees, and will not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind.
We will make accommodations for individuals with disabilities, and will provide accessible facilities and services.
We will work with the community we serve, community organizations and leaders to ensure that our events are inclusive and welcoming to all members of the community.
We will review and update this policy on a regular basis to ensure that it remains effective in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization.
